Christian Education: Growing in Faith. Nursery school children through adults have programs tailored to their needs and interests. We are fortunate to have safe, inviting, comfortable classrooms for all our educational programs, and to have a full range of audio/visual equipment to use in exploring God's call to us in our lives.

Our nursery is bustling with newborns and with toddlers, and those parents caring for them can hear the service with our sound system. Godly Play classes are available for our many children aged 3 through first grade in which we make Bible stories come to life and introduce children to worship. Children in 2 through 5 grades grow further in their faith in a rich curriculum appropriately called The Mustard Seed. The junior high and senior high classes are bursting at the seams with bright, energetic, inquisitive teens who meet together not only on Sunday mornings, but also at youth group events throughout the year.

Adults

Offerings for adults are abundant, both on Sunday mornings and at other times throughout the year, often following Wednesday evening worship, and at special gatherings such as Marriage Enrichment and retreats. The commitment to Christian Education is significant at St. Mary's with a Rector and over 30 adults actively involved in sharing their faith not only by teaching on Sunday mornings, but as importantly by modeling their beliefs in their lives. We are truly a community blessed by God with the desire to grow in our faith. Sacred Journeys

Our church school meets at 9.30am for Jr/Sr High and at 10.00am for Godly Play and Mustard seed each Sunday morning in our regular schedule when services ar at 8.00am and 10.30am.
Our Church school is divided by ages/grade level:
For the youngest, ages 3 through grade 1, we have "Godly Play". For grades 2 through 5 the children attend "Mustard Seed". Grades 6 through 8 use various contemporary themes as do our High School students.

VBS

Vacation Bible School

Each year the committee organize a summer Vacation Bible School which is open to the community at large. This year is Everywhere Fun Fair and takes children to a global celebration with the look and feel of a world’s fair and features a large class of 36 children who are broken into groups of six to enable some individual attention. Many of the children are from other churches in the area and are able to take advantage of St. Mary's open registration.
VBS is well staffed with education committee members and parents of some of the children to create a safe and friendly environment.
